Pony Club believes that our Alumni are our greatest achievement, and our investment toward assuring a strong, vibrant equestrian culture in the future.
Pony Club Alumni can be found all over the world, in show rings, veterinary practices, boardrooms and classrooms, gracing Olympic podiums or shoeing horses in your neighborhood barn. They are coaches, teachers, executives, law officers, parents and citizens just like you.
They are the people who are making a difference by giving back to their communities through the same volunteerism that was part of their formative journey. But they all share a common experience and that is the lifelong connection to the Pony Club family.
With clubs operating in 27 countries around the globe, Pony Club Alumni have friends and peers wherever they go. Many lifelong friendships have had their roots in the shared journey that is Pony Club.

I rode with 3 different clubs over my 9 years, first the Prairieland Pony Club which then dissovled and I joined the Northfork Ponyclub wich then turned into the Northwinds Ponyclub. I competed in sevral National quizes and thoroughly enjoyed my time with the club. I currently intruct for the Northwinds Ponyclub and I am very pleased to be able to give back after ponyclub did so much for me.

I remember learning stable management huddled in small groups in the freezing cold barn every week. This was definitely a bonding experience! I also remember my riding instructor Mrs. Susan Newcombe who was a tremendous inspiration and top notch teacher. Mrs. Newcombe also introduced me to the joy of Fox Hunting in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. I still meet riders throughout the Valley who I knew when we were children. It's fun to recall past experiences and most of the time it's the horse's name we recall, not the rider's. The first pony I recall using in Pony Club was Trixie. William and Dandy were also very special. Later, I was able to have a pony of my own - 'Minnie Trump' Minnie holds the most wonderful place in my heart and most of my lessons were learned from her. Minnie was a terrific Pony Club Mount and took her first Pony Club rider to the B2 Level. She took me through my C2. Now I enjoy Pony Club through the experiences of my children and I know that they too will cherish the memories and friendships they've made!!

I have very fond memories of Pony Club when I was younger and now my daughter has taken a very keen interest in horses and is a 2nd generation Pony Clubber with the Brooks branch. I have volunteered to help with stable management with the kids and absolutely love it! It is bringing back alot of great memories and I find it very fun and challenging to learn everything again with all the kids!

At that time we were the only Pony Club north of Kelowna and that is about 10 hrs. Jacquie Peters ran our club and did a great job. She brought in people like Nick Holme-Smith and Lynn Oaks (Sanderson). Joanie Peters & I went to B Rally at Maple Ridge and did well. (I can't remember what we got but I remember getting ribbons) It was a great experience and I am so glad that I was involved. I loved Pony Club then & I still do.

While I started late in the Pony Club (was 18-19) it was a great experience and I have kept the principles of horsemanship through my years riding and teaching. With the group of riders I now have we have started our own branch and I look forward to working within the Pony Club for years to come!

My family were part of the original group along with several other families that started the Vernon Pony Club. Pony Club gave me the foundation I needed to be a responsible horse owner and I had tons of fun while I learned. Quiz, Tetrathlon, Rally and Camp were fanastic fun times and we always kicked butt with our cow horses as the Kelowna kids refered to us when we first arrived on the scene. I now have two daughters in Pony Club who are having as much fun as I did.

Level: B1 Pony club is still the best all around equestrian program. My daughter is currently a member of DeWinton Pony Club where I am the testing co-ordinator. Love it!

My days in Pony Club were very educational and I made many friends. My mother did her stint as ADC then DC and my experiences made me come to England to further my equestrianism by training for my BHS Assistant Intructor certificate then my Intermediate certificate. After meeting my husband who is a dairy farmer I've since set up a livery business. Pony club is still a large part of my life although it's here in England with the Belvoir Hunt branch which has over 250 members. My daughter, Laura, is a member and has been for 12 years. She holds her B test with Lunging. She is very envolved with British Eventing and has represented our Pony Club nationally at the Pony Club Championships in Dressage and Showjumping. I'm in charge of the Showjumping Training in our club as well as the team competitions which I manage.

Rode in Nationals with pony club. Went on to ride in England and Switzerland. Competed up to International Preliminary and (3 day) Intermediate Eventing in Quebec, Ontario and the US with 2 horses and won Quebec and Ontarion Intermediate and preliminary championships in the late 90's. My 9 year old son is currently a member of the pony club at D level and will participate in his first D rally this august.

I was lucky enough to enjoy so many different aspects of Pony Club. I represented Central Ontario Region at 2 National Rallies, 1 National Tetrathlon, and 4 National Quizzes. I was also a member of the Canadian Team at the 1991 InterPacific Exchange in Australia.Over the course of my Pony Club career I met countless numbers of knowledgeable horsepeople and generous individuals who made my experiences not just enjoyable, but life-altering. I am proud to say I am Canadian Pony Club alumnus, and I do everything I can to give back to the equestrian community and Pony Club in particular. I am so grateful to Pony Club for the many opportunities it gave me to see so many different places! 1991 InterPacific Games (Australia) - 1991 National Quiz (Victoria,BC) - 1990 NBational Rally (Ottawa,ON) - 1989 National Quiz (Halifax,NS) - 1988 National Rally (Lower Jemseg, NB) Favorite memories: Regional Rallies at Mohawk (back when we could actually sleep in the shedrows) - skits, "borrowing" flags and mascots, toothpaste on the stall door latches!
