Pony Club believes that our Alumni are our greatest achievement, and our investment toward assuring a strong, vibrant equestrian culture in the future.
Pony Club Alumni can be found all over the world, in show rings, veterinary practices, boardrooms and classrooms, gracing Olympic podiums or shoeing horses in your neighborhood barn. They are coaches, teachers, executives, law officers, parents and citizens just like you.
They are the people who are making a difference by giving back to their communities through the same volunteerism that was part of their formative journey. But they all share a common experience and that is the lifelong connection to the Pony Club family.
With clubs operating in 27 countries around the globe, Pony Club Alumni have friends and peers wherever they go. Many lifelong friendships have had their roots in the shared journey that is Pony Club.

I had a wonderful time in Pony Club. I got many opportunities to do things I never would have imagined. I was part of the National Quiz team and got to go to Abbortsford, B.C. Rallies were always interesting and fun. I got to ride in the Colliseum at the Ex. It was absolutely amazing. The dressage and show jumping competitions allowed me to meet new friends and go to the Championships. That was a happy/sad memory as it was the last competition Smokey and I went in. He gave me the championship but one month later he was 'off' and the following February he foundered. Luckily he's still around for fun rides at home. Now that I'm a tester I get to see the fun upcoming kids are experiencing and hear what their hopes and dreams are.

I credit the Pony Club with a huge amount of the knowledge that I have regarding caring for horses and keeping them. Probably my fondest memories of Pony Club were the rallies (then held at Mohawk Raceway and then Checkmate) and the PPG's. I still have horses and when I am in the barn or riding I often think of time spent in Pony Club meetings and what was learned there - thank you to all of those that made the Esquesing Pony Club so wonderful back then.

I was part of the newly established branch of the Westbank Pony Club. I saw it open up to allow memebers the opportunity to have lessons in ridig and horse care on the Westside rather than travelling into Kelowna BC. Across the bridge and going throught the efforts of trailering horses. We had our lessons at the Jensens Arena just down the road from me - I went through 4 horses and numerous years of good times by being involved in the Pony Club. I am now 31 and have a daughter who will be turning 6 this fall and I want nothing more than to get her involved in the Club. It gives kids responisblity, pride, and ownership. As a horse owning memeber and show rider I did not have time to get into trouble or go to Parties on the weekends as I frequenty had to be up by 5 AM to get ready for horse shows. Summers where spent shoing, training, and so forth. I was on the Drill Team, Quiz team and later got involved in teaching barn lessons at the Kelowna Pony Club when I was to old to be in Pony Club myself. There is something natural about the partnership between little girls and horses and I truly believe that every little girl should at least get to sit on a horses back once in her life. BEing part of Pony Club made me the person that I am today and I am proud, grateful, and appreciative for the opportunities that I had.

I have wonderful memories from my time with the pony club and many friends with whom I still keep in touch. It was through pony club that I got involved in tetrathlon and later pentathlon. I travelled with the International team in 1997 and 1998 and went on to compete in the 2004 Olympic in Modern Pentathlon. Thanks to all the great folks in Pony Club who got me started!!

Pony Club was a great experience for me and I am quick to suggest to new students to join in the fun. It gave me a solid background in riding as well as horse management and enabled me to pass along my experience to others. I went south to train and compete in Arizona after completing Equine Sciences at Olds and was able to bring along lots of PPG fun to the stable I was at. It was great to be able to take my PC experiences out into the world and use them in my job.Thanks to all of the very dedicated volunteers that have made Pony Club so accessible to those of us that may not have otherwise had the opportunity to be with horses.

I had soooooo much fun at ABC Rally in 99, I ended up riding with a club from the mainland (I think it was maybe called North Star.....Star something). I also used to love camp......my first camp I was around 8 yrs old with my little pinto pony Nifty(who was under 10 hands).
