Human Rights Day

In recognition of World Human Rights Day, Canadian Pony Club would like to affirm the values shared by the United Nations General Assembly in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which proclaims “the inalienable rights which everyone is inherently entitled to as a human being regardless of race, color, religion, sex, language, political or other opinion, national or social origin, property, birth or other status”.

Many of these same values can be found in our equity and membership policies, and we as an organization, whose values focus on Loyalty, Character and Sportsmanship, commit to the values expressed in the Declaration, and to continuing to learn and seek understanding of the issues facing all whose circumstances made such a declaration necessary.
