** CPC Directive on Pony Club Activities and Exposure Risk for COVID-19 - National Directive Update Regarding National Quiz and Regional Reactivation Plan**

** CPC Directive on Pony Club Activities and Exposure Risk for COVID-19 - National Directive Update Regarding National Quiz and Regional Reactivation Plan**

NATIONAL QUIZ HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY RE-IMAGINED

In place of the usual annual National Quiz, an online virtual Quiz will be offered. Details will be forthcoming via your regional Quiz reps. ANR will be on deck to host the regular Quiz next year if circumstances permit.

Regional Reactivation Plan Update

Currently 6 regions have submitted Reactivation Plans and to date, 3 (ABS, ABC and ANR) may now start to open up their regions by following their plans. Three other regions are working on suggested revisions to their plans and hope to receive approval shortly. All regions are required to submit their Reactivation Plans as no region may open until their Reactivation Plan is approved by the National Management Committee. Three documents have been distributed to the regions to help them in this task:

  1. A National Self Declaration Form for use prior to every activity and to be signed by participants. /li>
  2. An attendance sheet for use at each activity in case of the need for contact tracing.
  3. A list of criteria essential for inclusion in all regional reactivation plans.

The provinces are starting to loosen some restrictions across the country. This is good news for all of us, but we still must be very careful to maintain social distancing and practice good hygiene, especially hand washing. Masks are now being generally recommended by health authorities to be used for personal protection when meeting in groups. These and other safety protocols will be essential to assuring that reopening of clubs goes well.

We continue to encourage all of our people to err on the side of safety in their personal decision making, to learn and follow the guidelines put forth by their own provincial government and health authorities, and to exercise extreme personal diligence when it comes to hand washing, sanitizing and social interaction. We are family, and community, and you matter to us.
