We're Hiring! - CPC is looking for a Part Time Executive Director

Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Act as a professional advisor to the Board of Directors
  • Develop a marketing and fundraising plan which incorporates goals and objectives that work towards the strategic direction of the organization
  • Provide support to the board by preparing marketing and fundraising materials for board meetings
  • Ensure that the marketing and fundraising programs by the organization contribute to the organization's mission and reflect the priorities of the board
  • Evaluate the delivery of the marketing and fundraising programs of the organization to improve effectiveness
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, execution of special projects
  • Work with the board to secure adequate funding for the operation of the organization
  • Research funding sources, oversee the development of fundraising plan and write funding proposals and grants
  • Communicate with stakeholders to keep them informed of the work of the organization and to identify changes in the community served by the organization
  • Establish good working relationships and collaborative arrangements with community groups, funders, politicians, and other organizations to help achieve the goals of the organization
  • Update and create new promotional materials
  • Provide updated content to webmaster
  • Create a comprehensive marketing strategy

Qualifications:
  • University Degree in a related field
  • Knowledge of leadership and management principles as they relate to the non-profit/voluntary organizations
  • Knowledge of all federal and provincial legislation applicable to voluntary organizations
  • Knowledge of Pony Club
  • Knowledge of current community challenges and opportunities relating to the mission of the organization
  • Knowledge of project management

  • Data Management
  • Issuing Press Releases

Details: Salary: $18.00/hr for 20 hrs a week
