The USPC has invited Canada to participate in an exchange similar to our North American Challenge.
The United States Pony Club has the pleasure to invite the Canadian Pony Club to send 2 teams to participate in the USPC Festival! Championships Quiz competition to be held July 19 through July 22, 2011. The invitation is for two teams of four members ages 15 -21 yrs. of age, rated C or B, plus one chaperone.
Teams will fly into Lexington Bluegrass Airport, Lexington, KY on July 19th, arriving in time to attend the 2:30 briefing at the Kentucky Horse Park. Departure will be from the same airport the evening of the 22nd or on July 23rd.
Be advised that it can be a very hot and humid in July in Kentucky. Chaperone is asked to frequently remind their team members to be sure to drink plenty of water during their stay in order to avoid problems with the heat.
Land fees for each team member and chaperone will be $400 US. The land fee will cover housing, transportation to the show grounds, continental breakfast and lunch daily. Participants will be on their own for evening meals.
Members are welcome to register and stay for the Education portion of Festival! If they stay, they will be responsible for their own expenses for this portion. USPC will be glad to assist any participants that wish to stay in maintaining their housing and arranging transportation.
