Thanks to all the parents and other volunteers who helped make this year's Regional Dressage and Show Jumping a success. Check out the results by clicking on the links above. It was a hot weekend, but a good time was had by all!

D Rally 2011

Want to compete in D Rally this year? Entry forms are due August 10. Both the branch package and individual entry packages and can be found on the WOR website.

International Mounted Games Exchange 2011

Congratulations to Jacquie Kelton, Dylan McPhail and Sandra Radcliffe, the WOR contingent at this year's International Mounted Games Exchange taking place in Kentucky. Under Dylan's coaching, Jacquie and her team from Alberta and BC placed fourth overall! The competition took place at the Kentucky Horse Park in conjuction with USPC's Festival. OEF Video Contest

Upcoming Clinics

D Rally Prep Cross-Country Clinic

The clinic is being held again this year at the Caledon Hunt Club on August 6. Entry forms are available on the WOR website and are due by July 30 to Robyn Chase.

The cost is $30 for D level riders. For any C level and up PC member who wishes to ride in the clinic, the entry fee is $45.00.

This year C level members may also audit the clinic for free. If you are interested in auditing, please coordinate through your branch DC.

Volunteer Opportunities

National Pentathlon Championships

Calling all volunteers (including non-horsey high school students!). The 2011 National Pentathlon Championships are taking place Saturday, August 6 all over Guelph, including Old Orchard Farm. Volunteers are needed from 7:30 a.m. onwards.

Organizers need volunteers for varying jobs and with varying degrees of experience. If you're still in high school, this is a great way to earn volunteer hours. Please contact Jennifer Williams for more information.

Volunteers needed for Cedar Run Horse Park

Cedar Run requires volunteers to help run their show season this year. In return, they can make the facility or other resources available to Pony Club members. Event dates are:

July 27  - Cedar Run Schooling Show

July 30 & 31 – Cedar Run Hunter/Jumper Trillium Show

August 10  – Cedar Run Schooling Show

August 24 – Cedar Run Schooling Show

August 27 & 28 – Cedar Run Rodeo Weekend
