The Kingston and Region Pony Club hosted a shooting clinic in preparation for Regional Tetrathlon on May 29th, 2011, in Kingston.
Thank you to Pat Boulay for putting on a fantastic shooting clinic! We are extremely fortunate to have Pat give her time and energy to this endeavor. Pat is an internationally ranked pistol shooting competitor, who has competed for Canada at the Commonwealth Games in 2010, and is looking to qualify for the Pan Am Games in November 2011. Her daughter is a new member of the Kingston and Region Pony Club.
Thank you all participants and volunteers who helped make the shooting clinic a great success!
The format of instructing in groups of 5 participants for 50 minutes was efficient and effective in giving direct, personal instruction to each participant.
Brian Zimmerman and Steve Rice helped out in the range - Thank you for donating your expertise to help the kids!!
We had 12 participants, 8 from Kingston and Region, 2 from Charleston Lake, 1 from Ottawa Valley Hunt, and 1 from Temperance Lake.
We are looking forward to hosting another clinic in the winter, at the same venue (Frontenac Rifle and Pistol Club). - Mini meet - Sunday March 20th in Perth.
