The Pam Dillingham Award is in memory of Mrs. Pam Dillingham, who was very involved in Pony Club for many years. She ran a branch, Kilowen, from her barn for years--one of the oldest branches in the region. She was an international steward, judged dressage, and was very involved with eventing as a technical delegate and course designer for years.
After her death, some of the money she had left to the Animal Welfare Foundation of Canada came to Pony Club and it was decided to award a prize at each regional rally, as Mrs. Dillingham was a great supporter of rallies and eventing. It was to go to a member who had shown care and consideration to their horse and had a sportsmanlike attitude.
