Thanks to all the generous sponsors of the highly successful 2005 National Quiz, organized by SLOV in Ottawa, October 7th thru 10th.
Congratulations to our SLOV teams for doing so well at National Quiz.
Meghan Hewitt (Rideau) and Angel MacKenzie (Temperance Lake) were our A/B team with Wendy Miller from Alberta Central. Their team placed 5th out of 10!
Our C individual members were Katelin Everson and Ellen Everson (United Counties), Ronnie Lloyd, Sarah Roney, and Nathalie Banger (Kingston and Region), Charlotte Harmon (Land O'Lakes), Joanna Duarte and Anne Marie Duarte (Napanee). Anne Marie placed first individually at the C level out of 56 competitors. The C team of Sarah, Charlotte, Nathalie, and Anne Marie placed first overall out of 15 teams and the team of Ronnie, Katelin, Ellen, and Joanna placed 8th.
Michelle Visneski competed as an affiliate member of Temperance Lake and placed first at the affiliate A/B level; Abigail Miller of WOR was her only competition but was good competition.
