• July 19th: PPG Zone finals, in Central Ontario Region (COR).

• May 27-28: Jen Hamilton Show Jumping clinic for Pony Club members and others, at Terelisa Farm. Entry and Release. Contact Tess Greer (613-926-2226).

• May 28th: Tetrathlon clinic in Ottawa. Postponed till the fall.

• May 7th: Applications for C2/B testing due to Cat Hunter.

• May 6th: Regional Tetrathlon Finals: run, swim, shoot, in Kingston. Entries due by April 26th. Contact Liz Tennent (613-546-4977).

• Apr. 23rd: Regional Quiz in Perth. Program and entry documents here. Deadline for early registration is April 10th. A shooting range will be set up so bring your air pistol if you have one.

• Apr. 2nd: Tetrathlon mini-meet at Heroncrest: Run, Swim, Shoot, and Ride. Entry deadline March 28th. Contact Sheila Wark, phone 613-623-8357.

• Mar. 25th: 2 to 4 pm, Polo Clinic at Heroncrest, Smiths Falls, cost $10 to $20, including use of a pony (cost dependent on enrolment), limited to players who have previously attended at least one clinic. Register by the Thursday before the clinic. Riders at D2 level and up preferred (i.e., can ride with only one hand). Contact Janet Heaslip (613-275-4192).

• Mar. 20th: Regional meeting, 7 pm, Recreation Centre, Beckwith Street, Smiths Falls (between the library and the police station, across from Tim Hortons).

• Mar. 19th Dressage Clinic with Joanna Crilly, at Kars Riding School in Kars, south of Ottawa, 1-4 pm. Cost $17.50 for pony clubbers. Register by March 12th. Contact Debi Stoness.

• Mar. 16-19th: 4th Annual Can-Am Equine Emporium at the Western Fair Agriplex in London, Ontario. This is not a Pony Club activity. The OEF is hosting four special events: forum on helmet safety, Horse Facilities Council Meeting, First Aid course, and Learn to Teach course.

• Mar. 3-5th: Regional Pony Club Winter Education Camp at MacSkimming Pioneer Village, near Rockland. $50 grant available. Application forms and details here. Contact Alex Walker.

• Feb. 25th: 2 to 4 pm, Polo Clinic at Heroncrest, Smiths Falls, cost $10 to $20, including use of a pony (cost dependent on enrolment), maximum 8 riders. New polo players welcome at these clinics; subsequent clinics will be limited to players who have previously attended at least one clinic. Register by the Thursday before the clinic. • Feb. 19th: C-level clinic at Ashton; saddle-maker Joy Drynan will demonstrate/teach leather repairs. Starts at 1pm.19th. Cost: $5 for ponyclubbers; no charge for accompanying parents. Limited to 10 participants. Contact Alex Walker.

• Feb. 12th: 1 to 3 pm, C-level clinic at Fiddler's Green; Getting ready for spring: worming, shots and, teeth, by Dr. Alex Knoepfli. Contact Mary Condie .

• Jan. 5th: Tetrathlon clinic (shoot, run and swim) in Ottawa (RA Centre and Carleton University gym and pool), 9:45 am to 3:30 pm. Cost: $15 per pony club member plus a donation to cover an honorarium for the shooting coach. Contact Janice Stevens (613-446-7439) ASAP to confirm attendance. Meet at the RA Centre at 9:45: off the 417 (Queensway), take Bronson south exit. Off Bronson take Riverside Drive exit and go east. The RA centre is just after the loop to get onto Riverside. Huge building. Can't miss it. Shooting Range is downstairs.
