- Jan. 1st: HO HO HOLD YOUR HORSES, Reindeer Games (PPG) Postponed to January 8th because of bad weather.
- Dec. 27th: Polo Clinic by Scott Wier from Polo Canada; a one-day (10 am to 4 pm) introduction for novices, a refresher for last year's novices.

- Nov. 20th: C-level clinic on Care of Pastured and Stabled Horses in Winter, clinician Sarah Mayo. Venue: Swallow Creek
Farm, Carp (near the Corel Centre in Ottawa).

- Nov. 8th: Royal Winter Fair bus tour for Pony Club members and their families. Bus fare $40; free admission to the Royal. Bus pick-up 7:30 am at Smiths Falls Community Centre and between 8:30 and 9 am at the parking lot at the intersection of Highways 15 and 401 (Kingston). Return after the Horse Show.

The clinician is Grits McMullen, and the clinic will be held
at Swallow Creek Farm, Carp, near the Corel Centre in Ottawa. The fee is $5 and D2s are welcome.

- March 5th: Doctor Bones, 10-12:30, Community Hall, Smith's Falls.
Dr. Bones will have kids dig for bones, as on an archeology site. Then they
will name, sort, and categorize what they find, build the horse,
and talk about the differences between the human
and horse skeletons. For all ages. Cost: $5.
- March 5th: D2 and up Education clinic by Kasia on nutrition.
1-3 p.m., Community Hall, Smith's Falls.
- February 27th: C-level education clinic on conditioning, 1 to 3 p.m., at Fiddler's Green, hosted by Ottawa Valley Hunt. Clinicians Ruth Allum and
Erica Tucker, and possibly a vet. Cost $5, pre-registration is recommended. Dress warmly. Contact

- February 12th: Equine Canada Youth and Horsemanship Day, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the
A. M. Barr Arena in Kemptville. Will touch on competitive, educational and recreational aspects of the horse industry,
targeting young horse enthusiasts. Guest speakers: Dr. Ray Geor, Gayle Ecker and Dr. Jeff Thomson. Other presentations include career ideas, plus discipline demonstrations including Vaulting, Polo, Reining and T.R.E.C. Registration $25.00, includes lunch. This is not a Pony Club activity.
- February 6th: Tetrathlon shooting clinic at a shooting range in Kingston, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., coaches and a range officer will be in attendance. $10 cost, includes pizza for lunch.

be planned at this meeting.
- January 21-23: Testing/Education Conference, Toronto.
- January 17th: Regional meeting at the Mlacak Centre, 7 p.m.
- January 16th: Meeting on National Quiz. Martha Corker will contact
the Quiz Committee.
- January 8th: Tetrathlon clinic in Ottawa, 12 to 3:45p.m., including swimming in Carleton pool with coaching, and sessions on tetrathlon rules and nutrition. Cost $10. Contact Janice Stevens ASAP.
