Hello Everyone
To date we have 12 active members ranging in levels from E to C.
Three of our members participated in the Judy Hunter Clinic held at Willow Ridge stables with members from the Willow Ridge Pony Club. They had a great time and it was a fantastic learning opportunity. They also thoroughly enjoyed riding inside in a warm facility J
All of our members and parents will be taking part in the WCVM Equine health seminar as we feel that this will be a valuable experience for PC members and parents.
Our executive made decision to shut down lessons if the temperature falls below -20, as it is just too cold for little fingers to tack up. Instead of a riding lesson, we have a stable management session at a local church with all of our members and our coach. This turns out to be a great time for the girls. We have the senior girls helping out the junior members and it always ends in lots of laughter.
On the 9/10th of February, we will have 3 members participate in the Shannon Sluser clinic at our barn. They are very excited about learning more dressage techniques.
We had a wonderful Christmas party in which the weather cooperated completely. We had sleigh rides, Santa, games and completed the evening with a fabulous supper at the German Concordia Club.
We will partake in Regional Quiz for the first time as a club this year. The girls are excited but a little nervous, as they are not sure what to expect.
Our members are gearing up for testing and the nerves are starting to show, but they are all ready and willing for the challenge of honing their skills.
