Anna Carkin lives in Gaston, west of Portland Oregon. In 2002, she achieved her A level in Pony Club – her lifelong goal since the age of 6. She runs a small business giving riding lessons, training and retraining horses. This fall Anna starts her senior year at George Fox University where she is majoring in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology.

 

Halley Crissman is from Midland, Michigan and is majoring in Immunology at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She hopes to continue on to medical school. Halley is an HA pony clubber and has had an active Pony Club career, participating in championships six times, as well as National Youth Congress and the Visiting Instructor Program.

 

Meghan Moran is a 20 year old B Level Pony Clubber from Avon N.Y. She is studying Spanish at St. Bonaventure University, and recently spent a semester studying in Seville, Spain. Besides riding, she enjoys soccer, reading and hanging out with friends. Meghan is currently training a 5 year old thoroughbred mare. She plans to take her HA this summer. 

 

Katie Hillenbrand is 19 years old and is attending school at Colgate University. Katie has been eventing for seven years and lives in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Katie has three younger sisters who are all Pony Club members.

 

Lara Silvers lives in Athens, Georgia. In preparation for taking her A level, she spent last winter in Wellington Florida, training and competing in dressage and show jumping. This fall she will be attending the University of Georgia, majoring in Fashion Merchandising. She also enjoys music drama, skiing and sports.

Linda Konst is a native Floridian. For the past 29 years, Linda has taught and trained at her farm in Zephrhills. She has two daughters that graduated from Pony Club with their A and HA. Linda is the Regional Chair for the Sunshine Region and is a C3 clinician/examiner. Linda also enjoys photography, art, writing and cooking.
