Ride for 75 - all Branches are encouraged to send in their kilometers traveled to the National Office. We have already traveled across Canada. Our new goal is to travel to each of the major Pony Club countries. This means traveling approximately 45,000 km. We are already half way there as we have traveled over 29,400 kms so far.
Wall of Fame - We are still looking for more people to add to our Wall of Fame. Please contact Liz Inglis (lizinglis@technalysis.on.ca) if you have names or contact information. Check out the web site to see who is already there.
- New Rules
Look for the new updated Dressage, Rally and Tetrathlon Rules on the web site. Please note that many of these rules pertain to Regional Competitions as well.
- Testing Update
Retroactive to 2008, if a member takes the full test and passes the riding but fails the SM, they may hold their riding pass until the end of the next calendar year. They will not receive any designation for the riding, nor can they do another riding level until they have passed the SM section. If they can not meet the deadline, they will have to redo the entire test.
- CPC Week
The Board of Directors has officially designated July 1 – July 8 to be Canadian Pony Club Week in Canada. This is an ideal time for Branches and Regions to organize special events and promote Pony Club in your area. If you have special plans for this week, send them along to the National Office and we will post them on the Web Calendar.
- Centre Memberships
The Board has agreed to a pilot project that will allow BCI, ANR and ABS to set up one Centre in each of their Regions.
- Governor-General's Scholarships
The deadline for the 2009 Scholarship will be July 30, 2009 so that they can be handed out at the 75th Anniversary Banquet. Reminders will be sent out throughout the next 6 months.
