FUNDRAISING

Our main fundraising event is our jump / sign sponsorship which has been very successful.  We want to thank Dave McHattie for the idea and all of his hard work implementing the system.  As well, we want to thank the following sponsors for their 2008 support.

BRANCH REPORT

While our club is smaller than usual this year with only 14 members, they are a very dedicated and active group. Our members are fortunate enough to have Alex Beaton as their coach.  Most of our lessons are held at her barn, Killeavy Stables, in Wilmot (near Middleton).

Each year we try to have a fundraising goal to make our club stronger.  Over the last few years we have acquired a dressage ring, jumps and new saddle pads.  This year our goal is to raise funds for bleachers!!!  Nova Scotia Power has been a major supporter of our club and we very much APPRECIATE their help.
