About Us
We started Greenwich Hill Pony Club in 2005 and we grew quickly. Our branch serves the Greenwich Hill and surrounding areas and we received a big response when we opened. We currently have 19 members, ranging in ages from 7-19, and we have a long waiting list! Many parents loved the idea of their children not only learning how to ride but learning how to properly take care of a horse, even if they don't own one. Kids learn useful skills not only relating to horses, but skills such as working in teams and learning how to communicate with others.
At Greenwich Hill Pony Club, we try to teach our members the importance of teamwork and the dedication needed to properly care for horses. We teach our members how to ride and we provide them with useful skills in stable-management and horsemanship. The three major qualities we enforce at our branch are Loyalty, Character and Sportsmanship. With these three characteristics present, we are able to be a hard-working organization, dedicated to teaching kids how to love and care for their horse.
