If you are thinking about joining our club here is some important information. Costs to join the Manitoulin Pony Club for the 2010/2011 year will include $45 to Central Ontario Region Pony Club (COR), $70 to the Canadian Pony Club (CPC), $65 to the Ontario Equestrian Foundation (OEF) for insurance purposes and then an additional $10 to the Manitoulin Pony Club for a total of $190. There are of course additional costs for field trips, testing, horse rental, lessons and badges, but we have raised some money this past year through a couple of fundraisers to help keep those costs as low as possible.
On the Canadian Pony Club website http://www.canadianponyclub.org/ potential interested members can find out more about the Canadian Pony club by clicking on the link above then choosing ‘About Us’ and ‘Join the Pony Club’ which is on the far left. Also in the Downloads section which is at the very top of the website, there is a download in the first section entitled ‘New Parent’s Guide and/or Parents Information Letter’ which will give you additional information.
