located in beautiful Port Alberni
on the West Coast of Vancouver Island

Who we are:

The Alberni Valley Pony Club was established a long time ago. In the early 90's it disbanded, taking a break until 2015. With renewed energy and vigor - there is a Pony Club once again in the Alberni Valley.

We are an active group with a time committment comparable to any Rep. team in organized sport. Check out our events page and you will find an up-to-date listing of scheduled events. There is always something going on!

Aside from developing young equestrians, we also strive to make a difference in our lovely valley. Recently we were able to assist the local minor soccer league with their huge tournament by tending to the fields and bottle recycling, making sure no litter was left lying around. A community and club favorite is the annual Toy Ride held in November. We invite the community to come watch us parade the horses and ponies through a section of our town, along the way we collect donations of non-perishable food items, money and/or toys. It is a fun way to give back to the community that supports us.
