Testing
Riders can be tested on their stable
management skills and their riding skills once a year, in the summer, by a qualified Pony
Club tester. They must first write and pass a written test to be eligible for the practical and riding portions of the
test.
Testing
at D and D1 levels is usually held at the Metchosin Riding Ring.
Testing at D2 and higher levels requires riding and jumping in the
open, and is held at a location with the necessary facilities. Testing
of C2 and up is arranged through the B.C. Islands Region of Pony Club.
