Metchosin Pony
Club
The Metchosin Pony Club offers a wide
variety of experiences and fun for children of all ages, and their
parents, in the field of horsemanship. It promotes the highest ideals of
sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, thereby cultivating strength of
character and self-discipline. It is a volunteer organization and depends
on the support and dedication of both riders and parents, who work
together to plan and carry out all of our activities. Knowledge of
horsemanship is not necessary in order to join - just lots of enthusiasm
and a few hours of your time each month.
We are based in Metchosin, west of
Victoria on southern Vancouver Island (BC, Canada). We have members from
all around greater Victoria, including Metchosin, Saanich, Sooke, and
even up-Island as far as Duncan. We currently have over 20
riders.
