Springbank Pony Club
The Springbank Pony Club has been in existence since 1961, however, it did not move to its current location until 1995 when Sarah Simpson of Simpson’s Equine Activities brought the branch to her facility just off Hwy #8 and Range Road 31 west of the City of Calgary. It mainly services the Springbank/Elbow Valley and Bragg Creek Areas. The influx of residential housing and children in the area currently has the Club running at maximum membership capacity.
As well as the regular weekly riding lessons that run from May through August, the Club holds a week long camp in July. During the winter months the Club runs a stable management program to incorporate the text book and hands on learning aspects of pony club
