Alberta South Region

Bow Valley Pony Club

The Bow Valley Pony Club was formed in the spring of 2005.  The club was formed to serve young riders in the areas of Indus and Landon, two small communities just east of Calgary, Alberta.

The club's organizes weekly riding lessons in the spring and fall of each year. Lessons are optional, allowing riders who are in year-round programs to continue at their own pace.  The summer activities include cross-country clinics, day camps and attendance at regional play-days and rallies.  The membership fee is $90, representing only the fees paid to regional and national pony club levels.  All other activities are "pay as you go".

In 2006 the membership was 11 riders and in 2007 it grew to 18 riders.
