Last Sunday, May 8, was a very full day for our Tetrathletes. It was the day of our Regional Mini Meet. We began the day competitive shooting at the Phoenix Gun Range. We had a light nutritious snack there and then proceeded to the Millenium Place Swimming Pool in Sherwood Park for the swimming portion of the event. We then travelled to a nearby park for the running event. The parents were wonderful in helping out with the score keeping and we were able to stick to our prearranged schedule. Our awards ceremony and pizza party was followed by a fun draw for an awesome array of prizes. The names were drawn and as the child could approach the table and pick the prize that suited them the most. Our kids did really well and some amazing improvements from the beginning of the training session were tallied and they were also awarded with ribbons.
