Thompson Country Pony Club
April 4, 2001
Hello! Hello! I am newly back from the Pony Club A.G.M and
Communications Conference. It was a great experience. I am
almost at a loss as to where to begin. I met a wealth of new,
knowledgable Pony Clubbers who are sure to be good friends for a
long time. A had no idea that there were so many clubs in such
different settings with such diverse membership.
What I would like to encourage, after having become familiar with
it this weekend, use of the Pony Club website and all of its
information. Its web # is www.canadianponyclub.org and it is so
helpful I can't begin to cover the benefits of using the system.
Pretty much anything pertaining to our organization can be found there
including: youth reps. from other clubs to network and communicate with,
forms for almost any event or activity within and associated with Pony Club
and much much more
If you can imagine it it is probably there or it can be.
Which brings me to what I can help with. I am our club and regions
Communications co-ordinator, translates to I will continue to do our weekly
newsletter as well as our Branch. and co-ordinate our Regional Website
pages. I am really excited about this and if you have any questions or
suggestions PLEASE call(845-3582). Our weekly newsletter will now be on
our web page so check it out! Any help with info. for the letter is always
appreciated.
AEF memberships are required for afl AEF events and that means our own
Thompson Country Horse Trials and the Thompson Country Equibition. See
the included forms and consider your options. Don't trailer to an event and
then be without the required coverage and memberships.
Thompson Country Equibition is August 10-19, 2001.
Junior Pony Club Camp is July 15-19, 2001 Contact Jeanette Brouwer at 545-
7940 To be held at the Brouwer farm.
